What Causes Kidney Dysfunction After A Brain Aneurysm?

My sister had a brain aneurysm and had to have er surgery because it ruptured when they woke her up she went into cardiac arrest, and her kidneys were shutting down they where producing to much salt in her urine. What would cause this with her kidneys ?

Ruptured aneurysm and cardiac arrests affect kidneys by decreasing the blood flow to the kidneys, called as pre-renal failure. If the blood flow was restored fat enough, the kidney function will revert back to normal. However, prolonged deprivation of blood supply to the kidneys can result in long-term kidney dysfunction.
