How long will this sore and tiredness last and do it effect any other parts of your body?
Hello there, Klierkoors is a local name for infectious mononucleiosis or glandular fever. It is due to a virus called EBV that is transmitted by exchange of saliva as in kissing. The overall soreness and fatigue may last upto 2 weeks . you have to wait it out. The soreness can be reduced by having paracetamol 500 m.g thrice a day . It is normally restricted to the throat and may cause mild spleen inflammation. Hope this helps. Dr Arun A
