I have CIDP neuropathy what is my outlook for the future? I have broken my knee cap in April 5 places put 3 pieces together with screws and wires it didn t hold so December 15th they removed my knee cap is nueropathy part of the problem? I had not been able to feel my leg s due to the CIDP neuropathy, but with I V treatments with gamma guard I began to feel my leg s. Is this related to the nueropathy, I m loosing sensation in my toes again, where it began in the 1st place. They fired my nuerologist now have to wait several months to go to one. What Will happen to me?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult an orthopaedic and get evaluated. Most probably it can be managed conservatively without any surgical intervention.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
