I am a longtime sinusitis sufferer an have been recently diagnosed with autoimmune disease. Initially, it was samters triad and now they think it could be churg Strauss. Anyhow, my question is while sleeping last night, I was awoken by a knocking sensation in my face/ sinuses. This sensation lasted about 30 seconds. It seemed to clear up my passages because I was able to breathe through my nose afterwards. Any idea what this was?
Nothing to worry . sinusitis with or without polyp may leads to sleep apnea . do ct scan of nose and pns .You may need surgical treatment if not resolved after medical management but it has high recurrence chance in samters triad.
