Hello,

The possibility is it can be a furuncle which is a painful boil arising in the skin from hair follicle. You should apply Fucidin ointment over the bump and do hot fomentation. If the condition recurs then you should take a course of oral anti-staphylococcal antibiotics and get your blood glucose checked. Also, try to keep the area clean and dry. Try to reduce weight if you are overweight.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
