What Causes Lack Of Bleeding Despite Taking Mifepristone?

When will bleeding starts after taking mifepristone.. Hi doctor , My wife is 7weeks 3 days pregnant..we have consulted with Gyano she was suggesting for D & C for abortion rather than medicine procedural ..but finally after taking several recommendation from other doctors we have taken mankind unwanted kit..now when my wife has taken mifeprostone yesterday night at 10 o clock and its been 8 hrs now that she hasn t got her bleeding is of now...I am actually bit moreworried as per proscription she was supposed to get her bleeding after 4 hrs of taking mifepristone...pls suggest

Sometimes bleeding doesn't occir after taking mifipristin alone...its action is to soften the uterus....ahe need to take misoprostol which usually comes in mtp kit along with mifopristone after 48 hours of first which results uterine contractions leading to expulsion of product of conception and bleeding. You may wait till taking complete mtp kit......if despite of that....there is no bleeding then suction and evacuation is considered.
