What Causes Lack Of Bleeding Despite Taking Abortion Pills?

Hello i am 23 years old.i had unprotected sex few days before and i got pregnant. I buy abortion kit with 5 tablets. I took single tablet & after 24 hours i took another 2 tablets. Still 2 tablets are remaining. But still there is no bleeding. What is the reason? Is it normal ?

Understand your concern
Before the using abortion pill intrauterine pregnancy should be confirmed by USG scan.
If there is no bleeding after taking 2 tablets of misoprostol then you have to take another 2 tablets with in 4 hours to induce abortion. In some case double dose should be required to induce bleeding. Dose and schedule should be decide by the gynecologist.
So I advice you to consul the gynecologist and take another 400 ug misoprostol to induce abortion and also go for USG scan to exclude ectopic pregnancy.
Bleeding will start with in 30-45 minutes after last pill of misoprostol and abortion will complete in 4-5 days.
Post abortion USG should be done to confirm the completeness process of abortion.
If ectopic pregnancy will be fund then it should be removed by surgical process.
Do not take remaining tablet as self medication as it cause excessive bleeding and chance of failure of abortion.
