Hi Doctor, I help my sister almost all the time with her homework and I have noticed that when she reads any kind of text no matter the font, she tends to read it in a manner where she would have to read and reread a word or a whole sentence because she has no idea what she s reading. This carries on for the rest of the paragraph for every sentence that comes next. She sometimes add her own words or even manipulates a word that carries an absolute different meaning. Not only that but she is able to read a question possibly 10 times and still not be able to comprehend the question as well as detect obvious answers for the question that she has unconsciously said aloud. Is this due to the fact that she s lazy to think or does she have some kind of problem? Do forgive me if my explanation is not clear. It s rather tough to elaborate and state all the difficulties she has briefly.
