Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband and I have been married 25 years. We have always had a consistantly physical intimate relationship with each other . On 2 seperate occasions he had pain in his testicles and it passed. On 3 seperate occasions he had trouble ejaculating. He chalked it up to some pain medication he was on and Drs found no problems. When he started vaporizing marijuana and then started masturbatibg to pornagraphy . We went from having intimate relations 1-2 times a day to barely 1x per week he has shown no interest in any sexual activity with me and says it s his age and he s tired but after having a nice time together he will go in shower and watch porn and masturbate and think nothing of it but doesn t look at me or touch me any more. I tried to be sensitive and understanding however I feel very much he s making excuses and I feel very betrayed as though I m being cheated on and cheated out of an intimate relationship with my spouse while he s still having sex I m not . Pleas advise I tried to suggest counseling and speaking to his dr but he wants nothing to do with it has become angry if I try and bring up the topic and all of a sudden has said he will leave me if I bring it up again I am at a loss and heartbroken his personality has completely changed and he is not the same man could the combination of porn and marijuana cause this to happen
Hi. I understand your problem. It may not be entirely attributed to only physical aversion but also to mental or psychological. Had it only been sexual, he had not had masturbation or sex elsewhere. Marijuana and porn material is required by him to fill the psychological void. To get the support of such ways to arouse sex but then using sexual urge clearly indicates his aversion from you. But please handle it carefully. You should try to win his heart and urge in your favour. If I were your physician I would have advised you to adopt the techniques given in Ayurveda to enhance his healthy sexual urge by nourishing seven essential elements Rasa to Shukra ( the semen) which when properly nourished gives perfection to physical , mental and spiritual powers including good thoughts and sex too. Similarly for female partners the presentation and behavioural techniques are described in Kamasutra and Anangranga texts. Its not only science but above science and an important aspect of positive health. In my opinion you should seek advise of an Ayurveda doctor and you will feel happy again. Hope this guides you well.
