Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a historoscopie, and they found a large blood clot in my uterus, now I ve been told it s not worrying but when researching this all I find is pregnant women with clots (I am not pregnant, and haven t had any children) hence why it s all associated with pregnancy I just want some more information on this and how this may have been caused
Although you have not mentioned your age, one thing I can tell- this is a common finding in menstruating women, not only pregnant. This is significant only when it occur in pregnancy or in post menopausal women. If you do not fall in these category, nothing to worry.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK, Pediatrician
