What Causes Large Bump On Head And Dizziness After Having A Head Injury?

my daughter slipped on tiles and hit her head I called the paramedics but they said she didn t need to have an x-ray and to monitor her. She woke this morning and says she feels dizzy and not hungry. She has a large bump on her head. Should I take her to a Doctor?

It may be best to take her to the doctor for an assessment.

She may have a mild concussion, this is associated with dizziness. Imaging may be needed to rule out any serious injury though the risk is low.

Monitoring may be the only specified treatment but it would be best for her to see your doctors to make sure
