Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have a marble sized lump on the lower left side of my head (parallel with my left ear). I noticed it in November and about a month later it went away. It s now about 3 months later and it has returned in the same spot and same size. I can t move it but I can move the skin on top of it. It s completely painless. I haven t been sick at all within the last six months, just allergies occasionally. Any clue to what it could be?
Since the skin is movable and it is painless, it seems more like a lipoma (it is a harmless benign tumor of fat), it is very common. You should get this lump checked by your GP as well. In case if it gets painful or starts increasing in size, consult your GP.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Hiba Tehrim, General & Family Physician
