Hi,

It could be either a Lymph node or a localized fat collection (Lipoma). Both are harmless condition and doesn't need to be taken out. A lymph node will reduce in size by itself overtime but a lipoma will not reduce in size but may grow. Also, if it is a lymph node there will be some other cause of its enlargement which need to be found. Hence, it is necessary to know what it is exactly. In that regard I advise you to get FNAC test of the swelling and revert back with reports.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
