What Causes Large Red Welts On Upper Thigh And Buttocks?

I have about 8-10 large red welts that feel hard to the touch and the size of a dime on my upper thighs and buttocks. Also have one on back and upper arm. We have been on the road for about 9 months, sleeping in our own trailer, using community laundries. My husband is not showing any signs or symptoms. Have slept naked without covers last few nites. The majority of red marks are on front of upper thighs.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.

It would have helped if you can attach images of the affected region for my examination. But with the given description it could either be insect bites, issues due to poor hygiene or overexposure, rash or allergies, etc.

Make sure you keep the region well protected and apply a cold cream over it. Avoid popping it or further aggravating it. Write to me using our premium service and attach images of the region so I can guide you further.

Best wishes
