What Causes Large Spot And Pain In Back?

I am having pain on my back. I can not see anything but I can t stand to touch it or be touched. Can t sit back in a seat. It started about a week ago with a spot about the size of a half dollar and now it is an area larger than my hand. Went to er today. The Dr. didn t know what was wrong and gave me 2 valium and said it might be a muscle strain. It is very painful.

The cause of pain at the back may be due to Lumbago .Inflammation of the lower vertibrae. and treatment is Nsaid,s and muscle relaxant and Bcomlex and back support belt and hard bed
