Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Leaky Blisters Post Gallbladder And Tubal Ligation Surgery?
I have a lot of stretch marks under my tummy from 3 pregnancies. The skin there is very sensitive. I (for the second time) in a few years have a hole that is leaking that drenches the entire underside of my stomach. What is this? Maybe a blister that won t heal???? Should I be concerned? Or will it just go away like before? Before my stomach opened up a little from an incision from gallbladder and tubaligation surgery. But that was years ago so I d think it would be from something else now.
Hii , Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here
The leaking blister as u said might be an sinus opening resulting from a deep underlying infection There are high possibilities that incision line at the site of surgeries did not healed properly and leads to this problem although many times small sinus heals on there own as it happened with u but it may need medical attention to prevent spread of infection to underlying tissues
if you notice regular discharge and it does not heals within 2-5 days with proper cleaning and topical antibioticointments that i would strongly suggest you to see a your surgeon to evaluate it further
I hope it help Thanks & Get well Soon
