hi i have a question i am 26 years old and its been like three years that i feel like a pain on my left side of my chest wich i guess the heart is and its like a small pain but its allways there i ve been to hospital for that buy they said nothing is wrong could that be stress? or is that really my heart that hurts because it hurts a little more when i take deep breath can you please answer my question im kind of worry thanks.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Chest pain can occur in number of conditions. However, chest pain associated with breathing is suggestive of pleural pain or pain arising from pleura or the covering of the lungs. I suggest you to get a X-ray chest for clinical assessment of the lung fields to look for any lesion in the lung parenchyma. Infection, inflammation or any other lesion of pleura can cause pain on breathing or any other movement. You can consult a physician or preferably pulmonologist for clinical assessment and thus management.
