I have been having moderate to severe left lower quadrant pain for about 4 years now. It started about a year after my daughter was born via emergent c-section. My OBGYN thought at the time that it was endometrios or scarring due to my c-section and she performed a partial hysterectomy at 25 leaving my ovaries. After surgery my OBGYN stated my uterus looked normal and I continued to have the same pain and had numerous more tests ran without answers until she referred me elsewhere. I have seen GI as well and had a colonoscopy that was completely normal. My PCP recently had more testing ran and my US came back with trace free fluid in the cul-de-sac and suggested I start seeing another OBGYN and have a laparoscopy done. My previous US from 2014 showed the same results which my OBGYN was not concerned about at the time. What could possibly be concerning at this point with the same result?
