What Causes Left Side Chest Pain?

I am a teenager, and have had chest pain. I m not sure what causes it. It happens very suddenly, 2 or 3 times a day, and feels light to moderate. The pain can be sharp at times. I haven t been very active lately, but an in good shape and do a bit of brief running occasionally. The pain is always on the left side, and I have searched everywhere but can t fund the cause. What most likely causes this?

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having costo-chondritis.
Avoid sedentary life style.
Go for regular exercises daily like running, swimming, jogging etc.
Go for deep breathing exercises.
Avoid sitting more time infront of computer or take some nap in between.
Take high protein nourishing food.
Ok and take care.
