What Causes Left Sided Abdominal Pain?

A friend of mine has continuous pain on the left side -- she has had mri, ultrasound, x-rays, blood work, it seems every conceivable test. All tests appear to be negative and there is still no answer for the pain. What else could be checked to find an answer?

I really appreciate your concern, it is not clearly mentioned the site of pain but just stated "pain on left side" but I could guess it must be lower abdomen and if not then your detail query would be appreciated, if this is lower left abdomen pain then it could be nonspecific, if pregnancy ruled out then no need to worry about this, better get done the complete urine test to rule out the infection, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
