What Causes Left Sided Back Pain And Numbness In The Left Leg?
My 15 year old is having left side back pain and is currently taking a medrol dose pack on the 3rd day. She now has numbness in her left leg and tingling in her left arm. I called the NP who we saw and will have a MRI done this week but tonight she is in a lot of pain. Hurting when she breaths. I m a Rn but I hate to rush to ER right now but I ve never tried this before just want an opinion.
This indicates peripheral neuropathy which is a result of damage to your peripheral nerves, often causes weakness, numbness and pain, usually in your hands and feet. It can also affect other areas of your body.
Treatment actually depends on the right cause.
