General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

There can be many reasons for the left sided chest pain and arm pain in 22 year chronic smoker as stress, anxiety, sequence of tobacco withdrawal, heart disturbances of conduction, bronchitis or else. My guidelines at present:
- Continue abstinence of smoking or tobacco
- Deep breathing exercises and YOGA
- Avoid weight lifting with left hand
- Consult your doc for X-ray chest and EKG evaluation

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
