Dear Doctor im 37 yr male since 2 year having some cardiac probleme like most of time I feel pain in left side of chest I have done TMT it was positive my Angeography result was mayo cardial bridge... Since 2 year im under medication but there is no positive result... it will be great co-opration if you please reply. What is actual treatment of Mayocardial bridge medication or surgery?
* As per my clinical experience, the myocardial bridge is a congenital condition in which the coronary artery tunnels through myocardium instead of running over its surface.
* Most of the cases do respond best with use of Beta blockers as metoprolol or others. Calcium channel blockers as nifedipine or others.
* Only minority of the cases do require surgery when there is no relief from conventional medications.
Kindly provide me details of current therapy to discuss further in details.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
