What Causes Left-sided Chest Pain?

I am 31 yr old male I have left chest pain . No fatigue, no sweating . My left arm pains at times . Echo is normal . I have T wave inversion TMT is normal . Now the doctor says there is nothing to worry . Another doctor prescribed to take tablets like Ecosprin and atorvastatin before 10 hours of TMT test. Will taking these tablets reduce the effectiveness or the accuracy of TMT test ? Could TMT test actually be abnormal and the results have come normal just because of these tablets ? Also i have just taken 1 ecosprin and 1 atorvastatin the whole of my life .

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is a non-cardiac pain and nothing much to worry. As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
