What Causes Left Sided Flank Pain?

For about 3 days I ve had increasing pain in my left side (kidney area) I ve been drinking a lot of water and urinating. I just sneezed and it felt like I was kicked hard in the side. I have no nausea, vomiting or fever. I m wondering if its a kidney stone.

Hello,

Flank pain is pain on the side of the torso, just below the ribs. Sometimes, the pain may extend to the low back.

There are many organs and muscles in or near to the left and right flanks, making flank pain a common symptom. Some causes of flank pain, such as a kidney infection or pancreatitis, are very serious.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
