General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The Isosorbide mononitrate is known to produce ototoxicity in form of headache around ear and decrease hearing sensitivity. It is best recommended to immediately report the instance to office of your doctor, stop further doses of Isosorbide as per his or her instructions after getting replacement prescription for the same. Later on if the symptoms persists, you may require an ENT evaluation with or without audiometry report.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
