What Causes Left Sided Muscle Spasm In Body After Discontinuing Abilify?
My 7 year old son has non verbal Autism and was put on Abilify 2 year ago. His dose was 7.5 mg per day. A new doctor recently doubled his dose to 15 mg after there was an increase in aggression at school. After 1 month I saw no improvement and he was returned to the original dose. After much deliberation I decided the possible side effects outweighed any benefits he was getting from the Abilify. He has been off the medication for 3 weeks now and I have noticed he is left with muscle spasms or jerking of all extremities from abilify, any help?

I really appreciate your concern, what ever the symptoms and sing are there that may not be due to medicine but it could be the disease condition causing this better to have second opinion without this nothing can be done anything for sure hope this information helps.
