You are suffering from pain and swelling in the left side of the
rib cage and abdomen. You are swollen and on bending you have a lot of pain in the abdomen. You have not give any history of your past illness. Since you are having left sided pain, get routine cardiac tests done, get clinically examined by a cardiologist / GP to rule out any developing coronary artery disease that requires treatment. Avoid
constipation at all cost as it triggers gas formation and acidity / discomfort and pain abdomen.
You can take PPIs, one SOS when needed for relief. To help better bowel movement take adequate amount of water and fluids, take high fiber diet, if needed you can take laxatives. For sprain and strain or
costochondritis, you can take
acetaminophen, one SOS when needed. Gentle massage or applying pain relieving sprays may help. Get clinically evaluated for any kidney or spleen problem, ovarian swelling,
diverticulitis, etc. You will be treated accordingly.
