What Causes Left-sided Pain In The Head And Eye While Coughing?

Pain in left parietal brain and left eye, (feels like it is behind the plates) everytime i cough or sneeze. I had a coughing sickness 4 months ago and this started after that. General meds do not stop it. aneurysm? I am an xray/ct tec and was wondering if i should just pop my head in for a scan or if this sounds like something that sill pass within a year.

it can be some intraparenchymal pathology also. or it can be chronic sinusitis also. first of all do a X-ray paranasal sinus. if it comes clean then go for a CT brain.
