Hello,
Facial numbness is commonly caused due to
nerve injury or damage, Bell's palsy, infection (bacterial or viral), dental infections, etc. Left sided pain in the head may be indicative of
tension headache, migraine and serious medical conditions like
occipital neuralgia, etc. You are suggested to get investigations (Blood tests, MRI) done so that treatment can be started.
In the meantime, you can take pain relieving medicines like naproxen and muscle relaxants (Baclofen), one SOS when needed.
Heat therapy may be effective. You should take care of your dental hygiene and get it treated if infection. Get your ears clinically examined by an ENT to confirm that you have no ear problems or wax in ear that may be the cause of your discomfort.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
