What Causes Left-sided Pain In The Hip After An Abortion?
Hi, I had an abortion 1 week ago and when I woke up from the anesthesia I felt pain in the left hip which I though is maybe due to an injection or maybe they hit me while moving me in the room. I was too upset and lost at that point to ask what happened but the pain still persists. What could cause this pain?

Hello,
It may be due to sciatic nerve irritation. Sometimes during pelvic surgeries, caesarean or abortion some fibres of the nerve are damaged or gets irritated due to any sort of compression.
So it will take time. You can take vitamin B12 supplement for early recovery.
