Radiation Oncologist 's  Response
Hi,

Was cancer on the same side as the pain? Secondly is the pain and swelling of recent onset or been there for over a few months? I would like to evaluate your husband and rule out the possibility of relapse of cancer or treatment-related change, with the help of detailed examination and if required investigations like an ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis and/or PET-CT scan. Based on the results of these, would like to take things further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
