Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a slight pain that I ve noticed on my left side. Close to the pelvis. If i press on it, it s tender to touch but it s not a throbbing or serious man. It s mostly on the top of the pelvis on my left. I am thinking it s because I am sitting for most of the day- at work and at home. Please advise. Otherwise, I do have any other symptoms. No urinary problems, no groin pain or anything like that.
Your symptoms are suggestive of local musculo-skeletal inflammation. I don't think that it is related to sitting position. Anyway, if this pain persists, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and a pelvis X-ray study.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
