What Causes Left-sided Watery Eye While Having Cataract?

I have catarcts my left eye is always watery. My doctor told me that my brain is sending a signal to my eye that it is dry. This is causing my eye to water all day. He did recommend that I use eye drops. These drops are not working. Any suggestions.Thank you Mary

Hello,

Watery eyes may be due to infection or irritation or dryness. Use artificial tears eye drops. Get it done cataract surgery. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
