What Causes Leg Ache While On Nitrofurantoin?
Hello, I started Nitrofurantoin 100 MG Thursday PM 3/29/18 I have taken 3 tablets & concerned about some aching in my legs. I had fought the Flu Bug ( Virus ) starting 2/28 for at least 2 weeks & hadn t felt well & very little energy since. Energy level is low & experienced slight dizziness. I have an Appointment with my Doctor Monday AM 2/2/18 . Do you think I am OK to continue Med. until Mon. AM ❓

Flug bug is the cause of your current aching legs and low energy levels. Get plenty of fluids (mainly plain water with oral rehydration salts). Have your meals regularly although in small portions.
You will be ok to use Nitrofurantoin until you see your doctor on Monday.
