What Causes Leg Cramps And Fatigue At Night While On Lipitor?

I have been taking Lipitor, 10mg. for two months. I have cramping in my legs and feet during the night. Also, I am very fatigued, but before med, I have to get up at least four times a night to go to thebathroom. I am concerned about side effects or the possibility.

If you are elderly and male, your going to bathroom at night could be due to BPH.

are you taking some other medicines also.

As far as your muscle cramps are concerned thay could be due to lipitor also, but could be due to other reasons also.
Please consult your Dr. who prescribed lipitor .

in the meanwhile you can take Tab. Evion LC - Twice a day for 3 weeks & letus see if it gets relieved with it.

please also get your vitamin d level checked.


pravastatin instead of lipitor could be a better option.
