Emergency Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

After reading your post, it seems that his symptoms are due to fever-induced myalgia (muscle pain). I would suggest that you should continue with the medications advised by his treating doctor. The symptoms will subside in due course. You can give hot fomentation for symptomatic relief. Rest and increased water intake will be beneficial.
If the symptoms persist, get him clinically evaluated by his doctor again.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. R.A. Singh, Emergency Medicine Specialist
