What Causes Leg Pain Behind And Above The Back Of Knee?

Hi I have leg pain, mostly behind and above back of knee when I am walking, but knee joint itself is excruciating painful when I lay down at night. I also now have a slight numb feeling down the side if my outer calf, and recently a feeling of great heat in the second of my foot.

Hello. welcome to HCM. These symptoms indicates sciatic nerve is compressed. This nerve supplies the lower limb. At what level it is compressed , whether at the lumbar vertebrae it is compressed should be detected and treatement to be given accordingly. please take advice from orthopaedician , get investigations and accordingly treatement.
