Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain in my right thigh. I have had it for at least a month. It is OK when I m sitting but painful when I move. I recently was taking medication which listed tendonitis as a reaction. I also have spinal stenosis and connective tissue disease. I am also age 83. What can I do? Ibuprofen seems to help. I have had atypical ulcers - one on each leg since August 2015, The one on this leg is healed the other one still active.
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. These symptoms are indicating circulatory problems in legs which are common in thisage and there may be present atherosclerosis that obstructs blood vessels and causes pain and blisters to form. You should do Doppler ultrasound of the leg or CT angiography to rule out such obstructive changes and then it can be treated properly by medications or by surgical and radiological procedures. ALso, you should have aspirine 100 and have elastic stockings applied, and should avoid cold environment and long walks. I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
