What Causes Lesions At The Crest Of The Breast?

I have a oval shaped, raised, closed, lesion at the crest of where my breast meet. The center is darker in color about the size of a dime. It is warm to the touch. This is the second time I have had this in the past couple of months. The last time it went away on it s own. I m concerned as I have recently had a basal cell carcinoma removed from my face.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

Perhaps it is a fungal infection as body folds provide an ideal atmosphere for the fungus to grow. Fungal infections are red, itchy, scaly and ring-shaped lesions. The centre may be darker. Is it itchy? I request you kindly upload an image of the affected area in " reports section" so that I am able to have a look and guide you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kakkar S.,
