What Causes Lethargy And Distraction While On Several Medication?
My husband had a stroke 2+ years ago and was recovering nicely until he suffered from septsis due to complications from kidney stones a little over a year ago. My husband is somewhat lethargic and easily distracted. He can lose track of time - sometimes more than an hour. He takes a long list of medications and supplements. Could the lethargy and distracted behavior be due to medication interaction?
Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.
I would suggest you to share the list of medication he is taking yes this might well be due to medication he is taking , I would have answered you more precisely if you had shared with me the meds, But usually in such cases pain killer including opioids might have been given that can cause this then other meds like anxiolytics can well cause such problems, you can always discuss the interactions with our expert panel on HCM.
I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you. Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad
