Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am experiencing Leukorrhea for the first time in my life where it is very visibly noticeable. I am 25 years old, not on birth control and had unprotected sex 6 days before I am supposed to ovulate. I ve had bv and yeast infection in the past and this definitely is not like that. I am not itching/burning and there is no odor. Could I be pregnant? Could this be a symptom of pregnancy? I took a plan b almost 3 months ago, could plan b hormone still be in my system and causing the Leukorrhea?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I have gone through your query & understood your query. - Plan B taken 3 months back can not be active in your body, to cause white discharge till now. - You don't have itching/ burning with the discharge so recurrance/ new contact of infection seems to be less possible. - The fact that you had unprotected sex on your probable ovulation day increases chance of conception.. & yes the quality of vaginal discharge does change after fertilization due to hormonal changes. So yes, you do have chance of conception. BUT it does not confirm pregnancy. Confirmation would be by pregnancy test( blood HCG test around the date of period/ HPT after 8 days delay in periods ). Thanks.
