What Causes Light Cramping, Sore Nipples After Taking Birth Control Pill?
I had been off my birth control for 9 days waiting for a new percription. I started taking it again 10 days ago, also had sex the same night. I have been experencing some light cramping and sore nipples. I started bleeding last night but it was during sex. Not sure exactly what to think is happening.

Hello, well from the history you have given, hormonal pills do cause side effects like sore nipples . This is because of presence of the hormone progesterone. Sore nipples are also common in premenustral period. But in case the symptoms get worsen then you may have to consult your gynaecologist.hope I was helpful to you.
