Welcome to health care magic,
Light headedness and dizziness are symptoms that may indicate high blood pressure. If you are diagnosed as hypertensive then you should take your medications regularly and not occasionally as this will prevent damage to other organs of the body.
In order to control blood pressure follow the given below advice:
1. Regular exercise such as brisk walking for atleast 30 minutes per day
2. Consume a diet rich in fruits, vegetables and low fat dairy products.
3. Reduce salt intake to less than 5 grams per day (1 teaspoon is approximately 5 grams)
Normal blood pressure for adults is less than 140 over 90.
Hope that answers your question.
Regards, Dr.Imaad.
