What Causes Light Menstrual Bleeding After Taking An Ipill?
i had sex with my bf on 6th of this month. my period is supposed to start from 9th of this month but instead it got started on 7th of this month which is the day after i had sex with my bf, i also took an ipill on 7th of this month but on that day only at night i noticed that my periods is very light. the amount of bleeding is very low and it is still the same today also... what does that mean?
This means that there is a minor alteration in the hormone mechanics of your uterus after intake of I-pill (which was not necessary on a date of 3 days prior to predicted menses).
So take home message is to avoid anxiety and unprotected sex. Your cycle will take 1-period duration to get settled back to the previous pattern.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
