What Causes Light Menstrual Bleeding While On Birth Control Pills?

I started taking birth control pills about a year ago (Fe 1/20) and gradually my periods have gotten lighter and lighter. In the past couple of months, they haven t come at all. A couple months ago I skipped my placebo week three times if that could be a reason why. Should I switch birth controls or maybe go off of it for some time?

Hi I think skipping the placebo is the reason of absence of periods. You can have a break by taking placebo pills. When you get periods after that, start the new patch. Hope it helps.
