Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
I want to ask whether you got your
menstruation on time or it was early & are you sexually active or not. If the light menstrual bleeding you got happened earlier than your expected period & you are sexually active, then it could be
Implantation bleeding. Bleeding is pinkish red in colour & lasts for maximum 2-3 days only as in your case. If bleeding occurred after sexual intercourse, then it could be bleeding from cervix too.
Implantation bleeding means that you have conceived & this bleeding occurs approximately a week before your expected period. Implantation bleeding possibility can be rule-out by doing a
pregnancy test. If test is negative means it was not implantation bleeding.
If You are sexually inactive or bleeding occurred corresponding to dates in which you normally had your menstrual cycle, then there is nothing to worry as it might be some
hormonal disturbance. An
eating disorder, excessive exercise or a thyroid condition can also cause a woman to have light periods

Don't worry you would be fine
Hope this information helps
