What Causes Light Or Tanned Stool Color?

Should I be worried that my stool is light or tan in color? I had 2 wisdom teeth removed 6 days ago and now have one dry socket, which was treated. I'm 23, male. 6' tall, 197 lbs., in good-great shape. Nurse said I had the heart of a runner. Drink socially, don't smoke. I take Vyvanse 70mg in the morning, mon-fri... Post operation, I was prescribed hydrocodone-5mg and have taken it when going to sleep. Otherwise I'm taking about 8 Ibuprofen a day. Since surgery, my diet has been mashed potatoes, soup, and sorbet/sherbet. I usually eat high protein and take vitamins. My stool has been tan in color for the past two days and has never been this color before. I have no bodily aches or pains and have no trouble sleeping. Should I seek immediate attention? In my case, what could cause this discoloration?

Thank for asking a question
Your concern being appreciated, the color of stool is entirely depends upon the diet is taken in normal subject if not having any serious illness, here in your case it could be due to the little blood might have gone in to GI system due to the extraction of teeth it is pretty common the little blood that oozes from the extraction site goes inside Gastro intestinal tract which may change the color of stool but it is nothing to worry only thing is the color of stool should not be remained changed if so then you have to see the physician for further workup and right diagnosis hope this information helps.
