What Causes Light Periods And Intermittent Brown Discharge?

I am 31 years of age, 5 7, 147 and in good health (mother of 4yr old twins) I have had my period for almost 20 yrs very heavy the whole time (5 day min) with severe cramps.. this time around my period was very light no cramps at all (very shocked)- actually thought i could be pregnant, took 3 test and all negative... period only last 3 days. 2 days later went to use the bathroom and when wiping i see brown discharge and pinks streak? Is this normal could i be pregnant and not know? not sure if i should take another prego test or not?

Hi,

You should go for home pregnancy test after 8 days delay in periods. It may turn positive by then. If not it's hormonal imbalance. Needs to be investigated by USG pelvis, blood test for thyroid and pituitary. Exact cause would help in specific treatment. Please consult a gynecologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
