General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

Both medications prescribed are pregnancy supporting drugs and do not cause the period. They in fact help with implantation after fertilization and from there on support the uterus to support pregnancy.

Do not worry and do not lose heart, I am sure your doctor will find a solution and the procedure can always be repeated so there is nothing to worry about.

Best wishes.
